Friday 11th March 2011 is a day that will go down in history, for all the wrong reasons. The most powerful earthquake since records began hit 250 miles North East of Tokyo. It measured 8.9 on the Richter Scale. After the earthquake there was also a huge Tsunami wave causing huge destruction, with countries as far away as Mexico on alert.
Unfortunately, this is just the start. It will take years for Japan to be rebuilt. Over the course of the next several days and weeks we will learn of the huge damage and unprecedented death toll. I just wanted to write a quick post today to say RIP to all the victims of today’s natural disaster.
Life is full of surprises, so we should live our lives as well as possible, treat people as we would like to be treated ourselves and help others without them asking. As we have all seen on various occasions, life is short, and a day like today changes everything for so many people.
Our thoughts, prayers and charity are with all the people suffering directly or indirectly because of this tragedy.
Live life, love life, and remember what is important to you.
RIP to all the victims
Rob
